Research Experience:

Have been awarded with Junior Research Fellowship by UGC and is currently pursuing my research after completing Course Work at the University of North Bengal.

Social & Community Services:

Involved with projects (providing free education to poor but meritorious children and healthcare in tea-belt areas) undertaken by Ramakrishna Math and Mission (Both Vedanta and Belur).

Area Of Interest:

  • My field of research interest lies in Children’s Literature, especially how patriarchy is influencing discourse to reconstruct the meaning of Child and Child Readers in 20th century children’s fictions. In fact, it aims to study the role of patriarchy in 20th century children’s literature as it provides valuable insights into the construction and representation of childhood and child readers in relation to the literature of the olden era. Through critical analysis and advocacy, I am interested to challenge existing power structures, promote diversity and inclusivity, and empower young readers to question, critique, and reshape the world around them.
