Eco Awareness is an important aspect that the department highlights through different programmes.
- Opportunities for one-to-one interaction with the faculty members help to create a bond. Apart from the Counselling Cell of the College, the Department also counsel pupils on different issues that they face.
- Creative writing endeavours abound, enriching students' academic experience and preparing them for diverse career paths.
- We believe in Inter Departmental engagement. Faculty from the Department of Sanskrit have taken classes in this Department. It has helped the students in a better understanding of the Indian Classical texts in Translation.The Seminars with the Department of History help in developing perspectives on different Periods of Literature.
- Parent Teacher meetings allow parents and teachers to discuss a student’s progress, strengths and areas that need improvement. They facilitate a partnership that ultimately benefits the students’ education and well-being.

- Syllabus Distribution- The syllabus is distributed among the Departmental Teachers.
- Departmental Routine- The Departmental routine is made in sync with the Master Routine to cater to the students, keeping all the Years/Semesters in mind.
- Teaching Plan and Course Preparation- both are done to maintain time frame of the session/semesters

Students Progression
- Some of the students join higher studies, like Masters in English Literature and Language, Environmental Studies, Mass Communication, B.Lib, M.Phil and Ph.D.
- A certain percentage opt for B.Ed courses with an intent of joining Government and Private Schools.
- Quite a few opt for jobs in the private sector, or initiate small business for themselves, like Shoe Laundry, Bakery shops, Jewellery designing, Make-up Studios, Free lancing, Hair Dressing Professionals, Interior Designing, etc. Some students also run their own online business successfully.
- Very few get married during or after Graduation, and settle down as housewives. However, even after a few years they try to make an earning through providing tuitions to children, setting up home-cooked food delivery units, jam and pickle delivery on order etc.
