Barshamongol -Celebrating Monsoon

Every year, in the midst of the monsoon season,  a vibrant celebration known as “Barshamongol” observed at Siliguri Mahila Mahavidyalaya .  This event, held in the mid-month of Shravana, is a cherished tradition that welcomes and celebrates the arrival of the monsoon rains. Barshamongol is a colorful amalgamation of cultural performances, community bonding, and a homage to the beauty and significance of rain in Bengali culture.
